Installation terms and conditions

1. Installation Warranty:

We offer a Five-Year Installation Warranty for new installations, so you can rest assured that if you run into issues, the team at Mr. Aircon has you covered. We recommend that a yearly maintenance is carried out to improve the ongoing performance of the system. Thus, we will contact you in 12 months to organize a maintenance.
The warranty does not apply when the units are moved.
The warranty will not be covered if it is found that the equipment is damaged by outside influences beyond the control of Mr. Aircon such as incorrect voltage, vandalism, flood, fire, lightning strike.

2. Exclusions:

The warranty does not cover:

a) Any items not listed in the above scope of work.
b) Chasing of walls, building works of any type. Filling of wall chasing, patching, and painting will not be included if required.
c) Repairs to movement cracks in ceilings or walls as a result of normal work being carried out.
d) Any costs associated for working with or in areas containing Asbestos or other toxic materials. This includes making areas safe and or removal of the toxic substance.
e) Electrical mains and switchboard upgrade works.

3. Responsibility of the Customer:

It is the responsibility of the customer to obtain all relevant Council/Strata approvals prior to installation. Any additional works required as a result of non-compliance, including but not limited to noise or location issues will be at the customer's cost.

4. Quotation Validity and Payment:

This quotation is valid for a period of 30 days or subject to stock availability.
A 30% deposit will be required on acceptance of this quotation. The balance is payable on the day the work is completed and the system is commissioned.
For under-construction or renovation house or apartment, the payment will be based on three stages: 50% (Deposit), 30% (Rough-in completed), 20% (Commission the system and the job completed) or another signed agreement.

5. Cleaning and Access:

General vacuum cleaning for the working area is included. But no guarantee of the cleanliness, professional cleaning at customer cost.
To assist with a smooth and efficient installation process, please provide clear access to driveways to allow work vehicle/trailer access on the day of installation. For ducted system installation, we request that all items being stored in the roof space be cleared prior to allow full and safe access.

Return and Refund Policy

At Mr. Aircon Pty Ltd, we are committed to ensuring your satisfaction with our products and services. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please review our policy on returns and refunds below.

1. Terms of Return

Eligibility: Returns are accepted within 30 days of the purchase date.
Condition: The product must be in its original condition, unused, and in its original packaging. Installed items are not eligible for return or exchange and are instead covered under the manufacturer’s warranty.
Non-Returnable Items: Custom-made or special-order items, as well as items that have been installed are not eligible for return.

2. Reasons for Return

Damaged or Defective Products: If you receive a product that is damaged or defective, you are entitled to a full refund or replacement, provided the item has not been installed.
Incorrect Products: If you receive a product that is different from what you ordered, please contact us immediately to arrange for a return and replacement.
Installed Items: For installed items, any issues should be addressed through the manufacturer’s warranty. We will assist in facilitating any warranty claims.

3. Process for Return

Return Shipping: If the return is due to a damaged, defective, or incorrect product, we will cover the cost of return shipping. For all other returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
Inspection: Once we receive the returned product, our team will inspect it to ensure it meets the return eligibility criteria.

4. Process of Refund

Terms of Refund: If your return is approved, we will process a refund to your original method of payment. Refunds will be issued for the full amount of the returned product, minus any applicable restocking fees for change of mind returns.
Duration: Refunds will typically be processed within 14 business days from the date we receive the returned product.
Payment Details: Refunds will be credited back to the original payment method used at the time of purchase. Depending on your payment provider, it may take additional time for the funds to be available in your account.

5. Manufacturer's Warranty for Installed Items

Warranty Coverage: Installed products are covered under the manufacturer’s warranty. This warranty covers defects in materials.
